More Research, More Problems. | Note 174

What do you want to do?

With the new year approaching fast, many of you are going to dive deeper into research. You’ll tell yourself you need to read one more article. You’ll say, I need to buy one more how-to book. You may even believe you need to purchase one more online course.

Have you stopped and asked yourself, “What do I really want to do?” Have you figured out where you want to go? Here’s a better question, have you set a goal?

Research is necessary. Going where you want to go and doing what you want to do is the only way to achieve whatever you are trying to achieve.

I’m willing to bet you already have the answers to most of your questions, but instead of going after your goal, you would rather convince yourself you need to do more research. Now is a better time than ever to get out of your comfort zone and take action. The funny thing is, too much research usually leads to not enough action.

The more research you keep doing, the more information overload you must deal with, and the more questions you’ll think you must answer. The more research you do, the more problems you’ll discover.
